I performed a curtain cleaning service.

Although the initial request was only for the removal of the curtains, after further discussion, it was decided that I would also wash them at a nearby laundromat and rehang them.

It is generally recommended to wash curtains about twice a year, yet many people go years without ever doing so.

While washing cannot remove mold caused by condensation or discoloration from sun exposure, the curtains will certainly feel much fresher afterward.

 

If you notice sun-fading or similar damage, it may be time for a replacement.

The typical lifespan of curtains is 5 to 10 years.

 

Service call fee: 2,200 yen + Labor fee: 3,300 yen + Laundromat costs: 1,000 yen = 6,500 yen

*After the first hour, the cost increases by 1,650 JPY for every 30-minute increment.

*Additional charges may apply for travel expenses (if the location is far), parking fees, or the cost of any specialized tools used.
